Starting at the National Tennis Centre we were joined by Mark Bullock, a specialist in inclusive sport who devotes his time to promoting active and healthy lifestyles with a focus on opportunities for disabled people. His wife Sam Bullock, a wheelchair user, dedicates her life to improving the lives of people living with disabilities not only through sport but more recently through fashion. She decided to join forces with some of the most innovative designers to develop her brand, ‘SB’ – a unique line of clothing providing comfortable and fashionable clothing options.

Thanks to the LTA for granting us access to the Nature Valley Open in Edgbaston this morning, a great time to share our story with more tennis fans and to listen to how much tennis has helped them. Knutsford tennis club in the morning of day 19, followed by the Boodles Tennis at the Mere in the afternoon.

In the morning Robyn kept the shot count high with 4 hours on the ball machine then challenged the coach. It was a lovely morning and the rain just about held off. With a doubles on the court next to Robyn she enjoyed the buzz of the crowd and action around her.

Despite a week of bad weather we were lucky with a glorious day in Boston. Huge thanks to the coaches that supported Robyn on court, to the ball kids that spent hours replenishing the ball machine and to the very kind staff that worked together to make the day a success.

A fabulous effort from Shona and her team for putting on a wheelchair exhibition by the pros from Grantham Tennis Centre, a mental health talk, kids fun zone, BBQ, and for providing lots of help on court with picking up balls.
