Club Case Study | Romsey & Abbey Tennis Club

A great day was had by all when Danny Sapsford and Luke Milligan visited Romsey & Abbey Tennis Club on Sunday 17th May. Our fund-raising day, originally scheduled for Easter weekend but rescheduled due to rain, included lots of tennis from the pro's as well as other activities such as Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Free Play & BBQ.

The pro's did a fantastic job coaching non-stop throughout the day. We started with a mini session for our under 10's, before moving on to juniors then finishing with two adult sessions. A quick break was taken so players could test there abilities with a fastest serve competition. And the whole day was rounded off with the pro's joining a number of players in some short tie-break sets.

Legacy Coaching

In total we raised just over £400 on the day which will go towards the clubs building fund to replace the current wooden shed with a new clubhouse.
