Club Case Study | Old College Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club

Danny Sapsford led a day of performance coaching for 36 of our adult and Junior players, focusing on advanced techniques for improving our game. Not only did all particpants walk away having being taught and practiced new skills, it was also conducted in a great atmosphere with a good bit banter. This was the second day we've run and once again it received much positive feedback, and we're eagerly awaiting our third day in March!

Legacy Coaching

At Old College we welcome and provide activities for players of all abilities, and we already support community outreach activities. We have chosen to use the £500 raised to run a course for beginner and improver players at the club ahead of the start of the Summer season in March/April.

We're privileged to take part in the Bright Ideas for Tennis initiative. It's an amazing opportunity to enable our members to improve their game and help more people to participate in the sport we love. We're very excited about our next event and hope to incorporate some exhibition doubles, as we did at the first event and get a good crowd in to support our efforts to raise more funds for reaching out to new starters in the game.
